Too bad. Hard copies are probably going to start fading away after Microsoft do this because Sony will most likely follow suit in 10 years they might not exist anymore. You’re just gonna have to log in at your friend’s house and d/l your game there.
Sony are NOT following suit. As a result, they are going to be the dominant console next generation and just destroy the Xbox One.

Psst, those are digital distributors. Consoles aren’t and I hope to god they don’t go that way. Funnily enough, I quite like having a hard copy of my game, that can sit in my collection, be taken round to a friend’s house for us to play, be loaned to a friend so they can enjoy it too, and when I’m done with it be traded in so someone else can enjoy it, without then having to pay a fucking fee just to access the game.
