Ok, I like the pawn system in this game

My pawn just returned to me with 1600 rift crystals (the downloadable pack is 2000 worth), knowledge of quests, monsters and areas I haven’t been two, and 5 star ratings in knowledge, battle usefulness and appearance. Woot!

Playing Dragon’s Dogma on my way to Shadow Castle or something. The path moves off to the right, my objective is to the left.

Autosave, I hate you! made a post the other day about how in Dragon’s Dogma I accidentally accepted an escort quest, then proceeded to escort him to his DOOM. So I turned it off there thinking “I saved at the start of the dungeon, I’ll just load there and leave”. NOPE. Loaded it to the sound of a monster snarling as it deals the killing blow, THANKS AUTOSAVE! Have now had to revert all the way back to the last inn. Sigh.

Dragon’s Dogma Problems

Find a quest board, accept ALL the quests! Oh wait, I just accidentally accepted an escort quest and can’t accept any more without cancelling this one. Damn. So I’m wondering in the general direction of my escort quest when all of a sudden, I find a dungeon at the base of a waterfall. Must explore! 10 minutes later, the guy I’m escorting is dead, quest failed. Dammit. -_- Perhaps I should come back to the temple of the water god later.
